Scholars@10: A Decade of Impact and Learning
Mastercard Foundation launched the Scholars Program in 2012 with 145 Scholars. Ten years later the Program has grown to impact the lives of nearly 40,000 young people. We celebrate this milestone under the theme Scholars@10: A Decade of Impact and Learning at this year’s Baobab Summit, the first in-person Summit in two years!

At this year’s Baobab Summit, we celebrated a decade of transformative impact and learning of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program.
Over the course of the event, Scholars and Alumni shared powerful stories of resilience and impact, while founding partners reflected on where we started and the journey so far. As we look to the next 10 years, the Scholars Program will double its reach to support a total of 100,000 young people.
